For spiritual purification, place the cowrie on a clean cloth near a lit diya or incense stick, and sprinkle it with Ganga Jal or dip it briefly in cow’s milk. Chant “Om Shreem Maha Lakshmyai Namah” 9 or 108 times to energize it with Goddess Lakshmi’s blessings. For added spiritual power, keep it under full moonlight overnight before use.
